As part of the museum’s 50th Birthday exhibition, From Bombs to Bellbottoms, the experience extends beyond the Victorian era, offering an atmospheric glimpse into Christmas during the 1940s and 1970s as well.
Each room is dressed in seasonal splendour, showcasing how families across three very different decades prepared for the festive season. From nostalgic wartime touches to the vibrant colours of the seventies, guests can enjoy a unique journey through Christmas past.
