Experience the Spectacular Severn Bore – 2 & 3-Star Tidal Wave
In 2026, the Severn Bore is expected to deliver its usual awe-inspiring tidal surge, with powerful waves surging up the River Severn and drawing crowds eager to witness this dramatic natural spectacle.
The Severn Bore can best be seen along the northern side of the River Severn, first passing Newnham on Severn (The White Hart Inn at Broadoak), then making its way to the Severn Bore Inn, Minsterworth Church, Stonebench, Over Bridge, and finally Maisemore Bridge.
Best Viewing Areas for the Severn Bore – Saturday 12 September
