Ailsa Tully - Live at Clearwell Caves
Saturday 7 March 2026
One hundred feet beneath the Forest of Dean, Ailsa Tully performs in the atmospheric, candlelit chambers of Clearwell Caves. Her intricate melodies weave over brooding basslines, creating an ethereal sound rooted in folk with experimental undertones.
All of Ailsa Tully’s songs originate on the bass guitar, layered with tender, distinctive vocals, dreamy guitars and subtle pop synths. The result is an enveloping, meditative live experience perfectly suited to this unique underground setting.
Ailsa Tully has received support from BBC Radio 1, Amazing Radio and Radio Wales, alongside features in Clash Magazine and Dummy Magazine. She has performed at Green Man, All Points East and EartH Hackney, as well as venues and festivals across the UK and Europe. With her debut album released in January 2026, this specially curated performance at Clearwell Caves forms part of a celebratory tour of distinctive spaces.
