Saturday Night Social at JDR Karting & Activity Centre is an open Grand Prix karting event designed for both experienced racers and complete novices.
Previously held midweek, this popular social racing session now runs on Saturday evenings, creating a competitive yet welcoming atmosphere where drivers of mixed abilities can race together on a professional circuit.
The Open Grand Prix format allows anyone to take part, whether aiming to improve lap times, refine manoeuvring skills, learn correct racing lines, or develop stronger race craft. Track staff and race directors are on hand throughout the session to offer guidance and support.
The event runs from 8.30pm to 10.00pm, with arrival required by 8.00pm. The current customer lap record stands at 20.110 seconds, offering an exciting benchmark for drivers looking to challenge themselves.
Saturday Night Social is open to all drivers aged 14 and over, with a minimum inside leg requirement of 28 inches. Drivers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Bookings can be made by phone or in person at JDR Karting & Activity Centre. A minimum 50% deposit is required to secure a slot. Walk-ins are welcome, subject to availability.
