Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club Presents The Ronnie Scott's Story brings the story of London’s world-famous jazz club to the stage, combining world-class live jazz, narration, rare archive photos and video footage.
Set among the dive bars and jazz joints of Soho, the evening explores the hand-to-mouth finances of the early years, the frequent police raids, and how Ronnie Scott’s became neutral ground within gang territory, including scrapes with gangsters such as the Krays.
Life at Ronnie’s is reimagined through vivid tales of past visitors, from pop stars, film stars and politicians to comedians and royalty, but above all, the musicians.
Featuring classic music from the jazz greats who have performed at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club across its incredible history, this is a unique evening celebrating one of the world’s most famous venues, its music and its legacy.
