The Great Lido Sound Bath is a large-scale outdoor wellbeing experience taking place this August at Cheltenham Lido, delivered in partnership with Serenity Waves.
Set beneath the open sky and surrounded by the iconic Art Deco architecture of the Lido, this unique evening of sound, stillness and restoration invites participants to unwind in one of Cheltenham’s most distinctive settings. Using crystal bowls, gongs and therapeutic instruments, Serenity Waves will lead a carefully curated sound journey designed to promote deep relaxation and mindfulness.
This event marks an exciting chapter in Cheltenham Lido’s growing holistic programme. As a charitable trust, the Lido is committed to creating meaningful wellbeing experiences while sustaining this much-loved community space for future generations.
Whether new to sound baths or a regular attendee, this promises to be a memorable and atmospheric evening of outdoor wellbeing in Gloucestershire.
What to Expect
A professionally guided floating sound bath led by Serenity Waves.
A shared experience with up to 90 participants.
A calm, supportive environment suitable for all levels.
Approximately 15 minutes to settle onto the floating beds at the beginning and end of the session.
A dry-side event – no swimming required.
Participants will remain lying down for the duration of the experience.
What to Bring
Comfortable, warm clothing such as yoga-style or loose layers.
A towel or small cushion for additional comfort.
Any personal comforts preferred.
Blankets and eye masks will be provided.
