A Magical Evening of Opera at Painswick Rococo Garden

An Evening of Opera comes to Painswick Rococo Garden for a sparkling and mischievous summer treat in one of Gloucestershire’s most magical outdoor settings.
Presented by Wild Arts (★★★★ The Guardian, ★★★★★ Opera Now), this semi-staged production is directed by Guido Martin-Brandis and woven into a new narrative filled with dramatic intrigue, jealousy, comedy, idealism and true love.
Audiences will follow the characters through 75 minutes of glorious music, featuring arias and scenes by Handel, Mozart, Rossini and Britten, alongside songs by Richard Rodgers and Stephen Sondheim. The performance is brought to life by four outstanding singers and a world-class string quintet.
Visitors are invited to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a summer evening of live opera in the beautiful surroundings of Painswick Rococo Garden.
