Easter Adventures at Sudeley Castle
Monday 28 March – Sunday 21 April 2026
Fun-Filled Family Adventures this Easter brings seasonal family fun to Sudeley Castle in Winchcombe, set within 1,000 acres of Cotswold countryside.
Families can explore ten vibrant gardens as they burst into bloom, then follow an Easter trail around the grounds to discover four giant golden eggs with playful activities along the way.
Hunt the Queen’s Hare challenges visitors to spot a giant hare hiding in plain sight. A trail of golden eggs, said to have been gifted to Queen Elizabeth I, guides families through the estate. Once the hare has been found, Tudor adventurers can collect a small Easter treat as a reward.
Over the Easter weekend, Hot Cross Royal Pardons! adds extra Tudor mischief with a live, family-friendly historical show hosted by Queen Elizabeth I and her travelling court. The bakers of Winchcombe stand accused of making and selling illegal hot cross buns, and the audience must decide whether they receive the Royal Pardon or lose the right to make hot cross buns forever.
Easter at Sudeley Castle is a brilliant family day out in the Cotswolds, combining gardens, heritage and interactive Easter entertainment.
