Mindful Soldier: From the Choir Stall to the Front Line comes to Gloucester Cathedral for an inspiring evening exploring resilience, service and overcoming life’s toughest challenges.
Audiences are invited to hear Ash Alexander-Cooper discuss the story behind his acclaimed book Mindful Soldier in conversation with Jo Durrant. This thought-provoking event will reflect on personal strength, challenge and the experiences that shape lives.
Endorsements for the book include praise from Bear Grylls and Rory Stewart, with Bear Grylls describing it as “an essential and inspirational guide to surviving and thriving, whatever life throws at you”.
Proceeds from the evening will support the Cathedral’s In Tune music project, the Royal British Veterans Enterprise and the Gurkha Welfare Trust.
