Children’s Easter Activities at Nature in Art 2026
Tuesday 31 March - Friday 10 April 2026
Spring has arrived and the Easter holidays are the perfect time for children to get creative at Nature in Art, based at Wallsworth Hall near Gloucester. From Tuesday 31 March to Friday 10 April 2026, families can enjoy a colourful programme of Children’s Activity Days in the Education Centre and gardens, with imaginative art, craft and creative sessions inspired by Easter, spring and nature.
All activities are suitable for children aged 3+, with children under 8 accompanied by an adult. Places are limited and must be booked in advance, with all materials provided. Children are encouraged to wear old clothes or bring an apron, as things can get messy, and a box is recommended for taking creations home.
- Tuesday 31 March – Yoga and Friendship Bracelets
The first half of the activity features yoga fun and games to get children moving. The second half uses colourful thread and bright beads to create friendship bracelets.
- Wednesday 1 April – Tie Dye Springtime Bunting
Children will create fun springtime bunting by tie dyeing fabric and decorating it with felt details for a bright Easter-inspired design.
- Thursday 2 April – Scandinavian Flower Doodles
Children will create Scandinavian-inspired flower doodles using pen and watercolour, then make a clay flower pot to “plant” them in. Afternoon session fully booked.
- Friday 3 April – Easter Crowns
To celebrate Good Friday, children can make fantastic Easter crowns using paper, oil pastels, ribbon and a range of colourful craft materials.
- Tuesday 7 April – Batik Inspired by Food
Using hot wax and colourful brusho paints, children will create food-inspired batik artwork full of vibrant colour and texture.
- Wednesday 8 April – Yarn Butterflies
Using lollypop sticks, pipe cleaners and yarn, children will make beautiful yarn butterflies to hang up at home.
- Thursday 9 April – Recycled Jellyfish Friends
Plant pots, paint and a variety of string-like materials will be transformed into fun jellyfish creations with flowing tentacles.
- Friday 10 April – Shoe Box Aquarium
Children can enjoy junk modelling fun as they build imaginative shoebox aquariums using a wide variety of materials. They are also welcome to bring extra materials from home to personalise their underwater world.
