May Half Term Activities at Nature in Art

Tuesday 26 - Friday 29 May 2026

Nature in Art is hosting a week of creative May Half Term activities for children at Wallsworth Hall near Gloucester. From yoga and crafts to outdoor art and nature-inspired making, these sessions are designed for fun, creativity and fresh air.

Tuesday 26 May: Yoga and Rock Painting
Children will enjoy fun movement, stretching and yoga games before decorating rocks with creative designs using acrylic paints.

Tuesday 26 May: Yoga for Kids
3.15pm - 4pm
Children will take part in yoga games and challenges designed to build strength, mindfulness and confidence. £5

Wednesday 27 May: Salt Dough and Seed Decorations
Children will make salt dough shapes using cutters before decorating them with seeds and beans.

Thursday 28 May: Sun Prints
Children will explore the gardens collecting greenery and natural materials to create beautiful prints using special sun print paper.

Thursday 28 May: Young Artist Hub (Aged 11+)
Sun Prints
3pm - 4.30pm
Older children can use cyanotype paper and materials gathered from the garden to create unique nature-based artwork.

Friday 29 May: Nature Journals
Inspired by the gardens and sculptures, children will use pencil, pens, oil pastels and watercolours to create beautiful nature journals.

All activities are available to book now. All main sessions have a morning slot from 10am to 11.30am and an afternoon slot from 1pm to 2.30pm. Visitors should choose their preferred session when booking.
