Free Star Wars family event in Cheltenham
The Brewery Quarter in Cheltenham is set for an out-of-this-world afternoon as the Gloucestershire Troopers arrive on Saturday 23 May 2026 to celebrate the opening weekend of Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu.
From 1pm to 5pm, visitors can meet 14 screen-accurate Star Wars characters as they patrol the Quarter, including Chewbacca, Stormtroopers, The Mandalorian, Grogu, Jawas and more.
The characters will be stationed both inside and outside Cineworld, creating a fun and interactive experience for cinema-goers, families and Star Wars fans of all ages.
The Gloucestershire Troopers volunteer their time to bring the Star Wars universe to life while helping raise funds for the James Hopkins Trust, a Gloucestershire charity supporting life-limited and life-threatened young children.
This free family event is open to all and offers a fantastic way to enjoy a weekend of cinematic excitement in Cheltenham.
