Ghosts, Pumpkins & Tudor Tales at Sudeley Castle & Gardens
Monday 26 October – Sunday 1 November 2026
Enjoy a hauntingly fun October half term at Sudeley Castle, where families can follow a trail of pumpkins through the historic castle and beautiful gardens while uncovering spooky stories and ghostly legends.
Keep an eye out for the hidden Sudeley ghosts as you explore. Count every ghost statue along the trail and children will receive a sweet treat at the end of their adventure.
Twice daily, visitors can enjoy ghostly talks in the Chapel, discovering the folklore, mysteries and haunted history of Sudeley Castle and the surrounding Cotswolds. (Monday to Friday and Sunday. No talks on Saturday 31 October. Talk times to be confirmed.)
For an additional £15 per person, book an unforgettable owl experience in the atmospheric Castle Coach House. Running Monday to Friday, these hands-on sessions offer the chance to get up close to these magnificent birds in a unique historic setting.
On Saturday 31 October, meet Tudor ghosts brought to life by Past-Times Living History and encounter the mysterious Wise Woman, who will reveal the herbs, remedies and potions once believed to protect against illness, bad luck and evil spirits.
Combining Halloween fun with history, storytelling and family adventure, Ghosts, Pumpkins & Tudor Tales is a magical way to celebrate October half term at Sudeley Castle.
