Cloister Tour & Magical Afternoon Tea at Gloucester Cathedral

Step into the magical world of Harry Potter with a unique afternoon experience at Gloucester Cathedral, home to one of the most recognisable filming locations from the Harry Potter films.
Led by an experienced Cathedral Guide, this special event explores the Cathedral's magnificent medieval Cloisters, where visitors can discover the daily life of medieval monks before retracing the footsteps of Harry, Ron and Hermione. Explore the famous filming locations used in three Harry Potter films, recognise memorable scenes and experience the enchanting setting where Hogwarts came to life.
Following the guided tour, guests can enjoy a delicious afternoon tea served in the spectacular North Cloister, surrounded by the breathtaking architecture featured on screen. Afterwards, there is additional time to explore the Cathedral and capture photographs of this unforgettable location.
This magical experience is suitable for visitors of all ages. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Event Schedule
- 2:00pm – 2:45pm: Guided Harry Potter Cloister Tour
- 2:45pm – 4:00pm: Afternoon Tea in the North Cloister
- Additional time afterwards to explore the Cathedral and take photographs.
Please arrive 10 minutes before the event begins and check in at the Welcome Desk inside the Cathedral's main entrance.
