Showcasing the extraordinary power of Gloucester Cathedral's magnificent new organ alongside a full symphony orchestra, the programme features some of the most thrilling music written for organ and orchestra.

From the brilliance of Gigout to the grandeur of Saint-Saëns' celebrated Organ Symphony, the concert promises a spectacular demonstration of the range and power of the Cathedral's new instrument.
For more than 90 years, the BBC National Orchestra of Wales has played an important role in the cultural life of Wales. As the country's only professional symphony orchestra, it combines its work as a broadcast and national orchestra with championing Welsh composers, musicians and music.
The Gloucester Cathedral Organ Festival celebrates the extraordinary power of the new Cathedral organ and marks the launch of the Gloucester Cathedral Organ Academy – a vibrant and inclusive centre for organ learning, collaboration and musical discovery.
The festival also forms part of Gloucester Cathedral's wider In Tune Campaign, reflecting its commitment to making exceptional music-making accessible, inspiring and open to all.
