Halloween Pumpkin Hunt at Clearwell Caves

An underground autumn adventure awaits at Clearwell Caves in the Forest of Dean, with a Pumpkin Hunt adding Halloween fun to a Gloucestershire half-term day out.
Families can explore the winding passageways beneath the forest floor, keeping their eyes peeled for mischievous pumpkins hidden among the rocks. Young explorers can count them all and enter their answers into the Halloween Prize Draw for a chance to win some lovely treats from the gift shop.
Pumpkin Hunt competition sheets are included free with usual cave admission, adding an extra helping of seasonal fun to an underground adventure.
Clearwell Caves remains open as normal throughout October, welcoming visitors to explore beneath Gloucestershire’s ancient woodland.
Above ground, guests can also explore the impressive show caves at Clearwell Caves, discover ten striking caverns with displays, browse the Gift Shop for minerals, fossils and ochre pigment, and relax at The Lamproom Café with coffee, cakes and light snacks.
With free on-site parking and events running throughout the year, Clearwell Caves offers a unique and affordable day out in the Forest of Dean.
