Cheltenham Stagecoach West Park & Ride services extended

Cheltenham Stagecoach West Park & Ride services extended

Late night shopping in Cheltenham gets easier thanks to Stagecoach West’s extra Park and Ride services.

Bus operator Stagecoach West is extending its Arle Court Park and Ride services in Cheltenham to help late night Christmas shoppers.

On Thursdays in the five weeks running up to Christmas the 93 service from Cheltenham’s Arle Court Park and Ride will run later in the evening.

So every Thursday from November 22 to December 20 the last 93 bus service will depart from Cheltenham town centre to Arle Court at 8.20pm instead of the usual 6.59pm.
Stagecoach West’s frequent Park and Ride bus service provides a stress-free travel experience for customers who want to avoid driving through the traffic to the busy town centre car parks.

Shoppers can park their cars for free and get return bus tickets for two people for just £4.80.
Day tickets to Cheltenham Town Centre cost £3.70 for an adult, while two under 16s will be able to travel free when accompanied by a fare-paying adult.  A weekly ticket costs £13.50 when bought through the Stagecoach Bus App (£14 on the bus) and a four-week ticket costs £52, available to purchase on the bus or online.

Easily accessible from the M5 and A40, the Park and Ride provides direct bus services bringing shoppers right into the heart of Cheltenham.

Stagecoach West took over Arle Court Park and Ride earlier this year and invested £1 million in four new luxurious Stagecoach Gold buses to run on the route, providing a touch of luxury, including Italian-designed leather seats, free wi-fi and USB charging facilities.

Stagecoach West Managing Director Rupert Cox said: “Christmas shopping can be stressful at the best of times but we hope our late-night Park and Ride service will help to make it a more enjoyable experience.”
