Coronavirus Temporary Closure: Forest Holidays

Coronavirus Temporary Closure: Forest Holidays

Coronavirus Statement from Forest Holidays:

In light of the Government's recent announcements, we have made the difficult decision to close all locations from today, Monday 23 March, until Sunday 26 April 2020.

The welfare of our guests and our team is our number one priority, and we have been working hard to speak to everyone who is personally affected. To allow us the time to speak to everyone, we will be issuing credit notes. Guests will then receive a follow up call from us to discuss their booking.

The vast majority of our guests accept our policy and are being very supportive, for which we are hugely grateful. Others are understandably upset that we have closed and think it’s unfair that we are not offering full refunds. We understand this too. But our priorities are to do what we can to prevent the spread of the virus, and to ensure we don’t add to the burden on the frontline of our NHS. Additionally, we all want the travel and tourism sector to be able to survive and to be available after we have won the fight against coronavirus, and that is the reason we are asking for guests’ support to postpone their breaks or to accept a credit note so they can take the time to decide when is the right time to travel and have something to look forward to.
