Winter Glow Announces Return of West Midlands' Iconic Big Wheel
Winter Glow’s iconic observation wheel is returning to the Three Counties this Christmas due to popular demand.
Standing tall at 120ft, this iconic giant wheel is set to steal the spotlight when Winter Glow, one of the biggest Christmas events in the West Midlands, returns to the Three Counties Showground later this month. Offering spectacular views of Winter Glow and the surrounding areas, the wheel is just one of the incredible attractions waiting in the dazzling fairground. Visitors to the festive fair can also feel the adrenaline rush on dodgems, immerse themselves in the whimsical world of Santa's Crazy Circus Fun House, and even hop aboard Santa's Runaway Train for an adventure like no other.
Chris Gage, Senior Manager at Winter Glow, comments: “We’ve listened to the feedback from local families who loved our festive big wheel last year and we're thrilled to be bringing the attraction back to make our festive experience even more magical. We want to create an unforgettable experience, where families and friends can immerse themselves in the joy of Christmas and know the big wheel will help us to do just this.”
Entry to the fairground and Christmas market area is free and does not require a pre-booked ticket. Tokens can either be pre-booked or easily purchased on-site to ensure a whirlwind of fun during this festive season.
Elsewhere at Winter Glow, visitors can take part in a range of magical experiences. The personalised Santa's Grotto Experience will transport groups of up to eight to a magical world to meet Father Christmas. Families can also skate along to Christmas classics on the all-weather ice rink and discover a twinkling winter wonderland as they walk one of the West Midlands’ longest outdoor light trails.
Winter Glow is open to visitors from Friday 24th November 2023 – 6th January 2024 (excluding Christmas Day). For more information on Winter Glow’s attractions and opening hours, or to book tickets to the Light Trail, Personalised Santa Experience, or Ice Skating, please see link below.
