Forest Model Village re-opens 1st May 2010

Forest Model Village open

The picturesque model village in the heart of the Forest of Dean re-opens after a refurbishment.

Following the winter woes of snow, rain and frost and through a lot of hard work, the village is ready to open its miniature gates to the public on 1st May 2010.

There are new additions with Clearwell Castle, Littledean Jail, Railway Station, Lydney Marina and the biggest project to date, the creation of Chepstow Castle.  There's a lot to do for the whole family including:

  • Beautiful Garden setting
  • Picnic Area
  • Cafe
  • Play Area
  • Giant Chess
  • Giant Draughts
  • Table Football
  • Inflatables
  • Children's parties

Look out for future events throughout the year.

The Forest Model Village was recently voted in the top 50 attractions by the Coach Drivers Club.
