Olly Murs Westonbirt concert announced

Olly Murs at Westonbirt

Olly Murs has announced that he will be appearing at Westonbirt Arboretum this summer as part of the Forestry Commission's Forest Live concert series.

The success Olly Murs has experienced over the past four years is nothing short of phenomenal, with the release of three multi-platinum selling albums:
'Olly Murs' (2010), 'In Case You Didn't Know' (2011) and last year's 'Right Place Right Time'. This album shot to the top of the albums chart immediately on release, giving Olly the biggest week-one sales by a male artist in 2012! Olly also managed the rare feat of being top of the album and singles chart simultaneously when 'Troublemaker' featuring Flo Rida hit the top spot for a second week. Further singles success with hits like 'Heart Skips A Beat', 'Please Don't Let Me Go', 'Busy', 'Dance With Me Tonight' and 'Oh My Goodness' have ensured his catchy pop tunes a sustained presence in the charts and on radio station playlists.

Forest Live is an independent programme organised by the Forestry Commission bringing music to new audiences without commercial branding or sponsorship. Income generated from ticket sales is spent on caring for the internationally important tree collection at Westonbirt Arboretum and improving it for both people and wildlife. Forest Live concerts are renowned for their safe and relaxed atmosphere in fantastic woodland settings.
