New Aviaries at Birdland Park & Gardens
Birdland Park & Gardens have just finished one of their many planned new or refurbished aviaries over the next two years.
This aviary (pictured) beside the river was an old block of four aviaries and the Birdland team have erected two new aviaries on the site that at present have a a female Crested Seriema on one side, a tall unusual looking bird from South America. They hope to arrange a male companion for her shortly. In the other aviary are Nutmeg Imperial Pigeons and these will be kept company by some Victoria Crowned Pigeons arriving soon.
Why not go and see for yourself. You can find Birdland Park & Gardens on the right hand side of Rissington Road as you leave Bourton-on-the-Water, just before you get to the large car park. They are open all year round.
