For gifts for “foodies” visit Cowshill Farm Shop for local and exotic food gifts and a choice of local produce for your festive table; local meats and pies, local and deli cheeses, fresh veg, patisserie, bread, organic wine, local cider, perry and ale. Turkey, geese and all the traditional accompaniments can be ordered and hampers arranged.
Make a visit of it and enjoy our art exhibition and ‘coffee and conversation’ in the Taurus Crafts Café.
Throughout the festive period we have a range of events. Christmas Markets over the weekends of 6th/7th and 13th /14th December, a Christmas Concert by the Pillowell’s Training Band (free) on the 20th December 2pm to 3.30pm and A Christmas Carol storytelling performed on Sunday December 21st 2pm to 3.30pm, £3. Opening on the 22nd December and running throughout the school holiday we have; a schools exhibition of decorated Gingerbread houses and a ’12 days of Christmas’ digital projection, a free show running daily, installed by a local video artist.
If you are looking for Santa then you don’t have to look far – he is visiting our neighbours Coinros Nursery and Lydney Krazy Golf, only a few yards from Taurus Crafts.
