Still time to enter the GE Aviation Aquathlon

The next sporting challenge is fast approaching at Sandford Parks Lido in Cheltenham. This year's GE Aviation Aquathlon will be taking place on Sunday 26 June and there is still plenty of time for you to enter.
This Aquathlon is a fast swim/run race that has two distances for you to compete in. The shorter course involves a 400m swim in the heated main pool followed by a 2.5km run around the surrounding roads and within Sandford Park. The longer course has a swim of 800m followed by a 5km run on the same course.
Suitable for all abilities this Aquathlon is a great entry point into the sport of triathlon and also provides a good test for seasoned triathletes. Children aged 13-17 can also enter the shorter course.
There are individual winner’s prizes (provided by Weird Fish Clothing) for both distances as well as the first placed short course team and first placed long course team. The team competition involves three team members who all complete both swim and run disciplines. The combined finish times are added up and the quickest team wins.
The entry price for this race is £20 and you can enter online now at https://endurancecui.active.com/event-reg/select-race?e=30104753
All money raised from participation in this race goes to Sandford Lido Ltd, the charitable trust which operates Sandford Parks Lido. Registered Charity No 1052203.
