The Wharf House Restaurant gains prestigious food award
After 8 years of consistanlty holding an AA Red Rosette for culinary excellence The Wharf House team were very proud for September to see an award of 2 AA Rosettes.
There are only a very small number of restaurants within traveling distance of Gloucester to hold this prestigious award, although customers travel far and wide to visit both the Rooms and Restaurant at The Wharf House.
There is no formality that you might expect with such an award however and at lunchtime you are as welcome to enjoy a freshly prepared pannini or deli board as you are the a la carte or exquisite 9 course Tasting Menu. It does pay to book though. Tuesday to Saturday evenings see a choice of either the a la carte or Tasting Menu and is the perfect place to chill out for a relaxing evening or that special occasion.
The Wharf House is unique in being part of The Herefordshire & Gloucestershire Canal Trust and you can combine some delectable food or just a drink with exploring part of the canal which the Trust is restoring at Over Wharf.
