Adam Henson has fun with visitors and animals in the snow on his Farm Park
This week, Cotswold Farm Park’s rare & native breeds of farm animals, as well as Britain’s best-known farmer, Adam Henson, have been enjoying their snow-covered Cotswold landscape.
With all roads to the much-loved visitor attraction clear and gritted, visitors have been joyfully embracing the snowfall and wintery scenes across the paddocks and play areas.
On Sunday, members of the public had the chance to see magnificent Highland Cattle, friendly goats and majestic display sheep up close in the snow.
The herds are fully adapted to colder temperatures and have well developed coats, providing them with natural insulation.
Later in the day, Farmer and TV Presenter, Adam Henson, was seen joining the fun with children who were overjoyed to play with Adam in the snow.
Adam shared “This is what winter is all about! Our stunning Cotswold location looks beautiful with the snow and there’s always lots of fun to be had on the farm!”
The Farm Park team are working incredibly hard to ensure all of their livestock have access to winter forage and fresh water during the colder months.
The public can experience winter on the farm at Cotswold Farm Park and during their Enchanted Light Trail: ‘Through the Wardrobe’ which is now open to visitors and runs until 31st December, with tickets from £12 - £25.
There are also Twilight Sessions available to book at 4.15pm and 4.30pm, ideal for young children or those who want to enjoy a quieter/more well-lit experience.
Tickets can be purchased from https://cotswoldfarmpark.co.uk/enchanted-light-trail.
