Snowdrops at Batsford Arboretum: A Timeless Winter Escape

Snowdrops at Batsford Arboretum
End of January to Early March 2025
Discover Stunning Snowdrops in the Cotswolds at Batsford Arboretum
Experience one of the most magical snowdrop displays in Gloucestershire this winter at Batsford Arboretum.
From the end of January to early March, visitors can immerse themselves in a spectacular showcase of snowdrops across 60 acres of breathtaking Cotswold scenery.
The Snowdrops at Batsford Arboretum event is more than a walk in the park—it’s a celebration of winter’s beauty. Follow meandering woodland trails lined with swathes of delicate snowdrops, enjoy peaceful moments surrounded by nature, and capture memories amidst this serene seasonal wonder.

This year, visitors can expect a variety of new trails, designed to showcase the Arboretum’s most scenic spots. Families, gardening enthusiasts, and nature lovers alike will find something to enjoy in this enchanting display, perfect for brightening up even the gloomiest winter day.
“Our gardening team has planted numerous snowdrops throughout the years, making the seasonal display increasingly stunning with each passing year. They truly brighten up a winter's day! We recommend visiting from late January onwards to see the display at its best. Visitors can also create their own displays at home, as snowdrops 'in the green' are available for purchase at our onsite garden centre,” said Laura Summers, Press and Marketing at Batsford Arboretum.

For those inspired to recreate this winter beauty at home, snowdrops ‘in the green’ can be purchased at Batsford’s Garden Centre. It’s the perfect opportunity to bring a little piece of this Cotswold wonder back with you.
