Breeding Season Takes Flight at Cotswold Falconry Centre

Breeding Season Takes Flight at Cotswold Falconry Centre

Hopeful signs for 'Critically Endangered Birds of Prey'

Spring has arrived at Cotswold Falconry Centre, marking the start of an exciting breeding season. Many of the resident birds of prey have been constructing nest sites, and early indications suggest a promising year ahead.

Among the highlights, critically endangered vultures have begun pairing up and sitting in their nesting spots. While it is too soon to confirm whether they are on eggs, the team remains hopeful for a successful breeding season.

"Fingers crossed for the moment, but we are very excited and look forward to a successful breeding year," says Mark Dalton of Cotswold Falconry Centre, adding, "Largely due to human impact, some of these birds are really struggling in the wild, and we are happy to do our bit in helping with their conservation."
