Sudeley Castle is set to reopen for the 2025 season with exciting new experiences, including a special return ticket offer, a brand-new exhibition, and a Mother’s Day treat.

  • Sudeley Castle reopens on Monday, 17th March 2025 for the new season.

  • The all-new Ruins to Revival exhibition will take visitors on a journey through Sudeley’s rich history.
  • Mother’s Day celebrations will include family-friendly games and a special cream tea experience.

New Season, New Experiences

From Monday, 17th March, Sudeley Castle welcomes visitors back for the 2025 season, offering fascinating historical exhibitions, award-winning gardens, and family-friendly experiences. This year introduces the Ruins to Revival exhibition, an immersive outdoor display that reveals the castle’s dramatic transformation from Tudor grandeur to Victorian revival.

The exhibition features rarely seen watercolours and historical illustrations, set against the castle’s spectacular gardens. At its heart is a collection of large-scale watercolours painted in 1818 by John Buckler, a celebrated topographical artist. These stunning artworks provide a rare glimpse into Sudeley’s ruined state before its restoration. Visitors can also explore original stone ruins, watch a short film on the English Civil War, and view the original alabaster block from Queen Katherine Parr’s Tudor burial, all included within general admission.

A day out in the Cotswolds must include a visit to the magnificent Sudeley Castle & Gardens
