Celebrity Duo Take Centre Stage in 2:22 – A Ghost Story at the Everyman Theatre
Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton Bring 2:22 – A Ghost Story to Cheltenham
Supernatural suspense, edge-of-your-seat tension, and one of the nation’s most talked-about celebrity couples – 2:22 – A Ghost Story is coming to the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham from Monday 20 to Saturday 25 October, promising to be one of the biggest theatrical events in the Cheltenham events calendar.
This chilling production has captivated audiences across seven record-breaking West End seasons, a highly successful UK and Ireland tour, and over thirty global productions.
Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton, partners both on and off stage, take on the lead roles of Jenny and Sam – a couple divided by fear and logic. Stacey Dooley, the award-winning television presenter, returns to the role of Jenny after her acclaimed West End debut, portraying a woman convinced her home is haunted. Kevin Clifton, best known for Strictly Come Dancing and his stage roles in Everybody’s Talking About Jamie and Chicago, plays her sceptical husband, Sam.
What follows is an electrifying night of tension and unease, as secrets surface, nerves fray, and an unseen presence creeps ever closer…
Written by Danny Robins, creator of BBC's Uncanny and The Battersea Poltergeist, 2:22 – A Ghost Story blends psychological drama and supernatural thrills in a way that has left audiences questioning everything they believe.
“There’s something in our house. I hear it every night, at the same time.”
The story unfolds over a dinner party, where Jenny, Sam, and their guests Lauren and Ben stay awake until 2:22am to uncover the truth... if they dare.
Further casting to be announced.
