Explore Sudeley Castle This Easter with Tudor Games and Surprises
Easter Activities at Sudeley Castle 2025: Family Fun with a Tudor Twist
A host of themed activities awaits the whole family at Sudeley Castle this Easter.
From 12th – 27th April, Sudeley Castle is offering visitors the chance to step back in time to Medieval England and explore the castle gardens and secret pathways in a family game of 'Tudor Guess Who'. You’ll be invited to search the grounds for Henry VIII's six wives who will all be hiding with a fascinating fact about Easter traditions in Tudor England. The challenge will be to work out which wife is which... and to discover giant Tudor-themed Easter eggs hidden around the castle grounds.
There will be egg-stra special activities across the Easter weekend from Friday 18th to Monday 21st April, including Tudor games, dancing and egg decorating. Families will enjoy and experience a whole host of Tudor Easter celebrations and get the chance to meet Queen Elizabeth I who will be granting her loyal subjects Royal Pardons, allowing them to eat hot cross buns all weekend long.
With the new season’s 30 days for the price of one return offer, families can revisit as many times as they wish within 30 days, from the day that they purchase a ticket, and all Easter activities are included with admission.
The ten-award winning stunning gardens look especially beautiful in the Spring with flowers and trees beginning to blossom, making Easter the perfect time to visit the historic house. The castle-themed adventure playground is always a highlight for families and delicious treats can be purchased from the Pavillion Café and the new Shepherd’s Hut.
The refreshed Pavillion Café will also be offering a self-service experience on entrance and exit to the castle, including a brand-new ice cream parlour for those warmer days. The all-new Shepherd’s Hut is located in a charming new spot by The Castle Terrace, serving delicious light bites and refreshments, with plenty of outdoor seating.
