Creative Days Out in the Cotswolds: Summer Sculpture at Bibury Trout Farm
Experience art in nature at one of the most unique garden exhibitions in the Cotswolds this summer.
Bibury Trout Farm in Gloucestershire hosts a charming Summer Sculpture Exhibition, bringing together a curated selection of local artists who each bring their own creative flair to the gardens. Running until the end of September 2025, this inspiring open-air exhibition is included with general admission and offers a unique way to explore both Cotswold gardens and outdoor art in a beautiful natural setting.
Wander through the scenic grounds and encounter a variety of eye-catching sculptures – from dynamic metal works to delicate wire forms and tranquil stone carvings – all thoughtfully placed within the farm's tranquil environment.
It is an excellent opportunity to enjoy a great day out in the Cotswolds, combining the delights of Bibury’s lush gardens with creative inspiration. Each sculpture is available to purchase, making it the ideal place to find a special piece of art for your own garden.

Lifelike sloth sculpture by Martin Adamson, on display at Bibury Trout Farm’s Summer Sculpture Exhibition.
This year’s featured artists include Will Carr, celebrated for his graceful kinetic sculptures that move elegantly with the breeze; Martin Adamson, whose lifelike animal sculptures capture fleeting moments in nature; and Hayley Jones, who brings the natural world to life with her intricate wire creations inspired by garden birds and riverside scenes. Ian Marlow, working in stainless steel, glass and bronze, offers striking contemporary pieces, while Rachel Ducker explores the emotive form of the human body through expressive wire sculptures. Allan Mackenzie presents bold works that reflect themes of family and belonging, and Frances Warren contributes stone carvings and recycled glass pieces influenced by the local landscape and the River Wye.
As one of the oldest working trout farms in the country, Bibury Trout Farm also offers a fantastic day out for all ages, with activities like fish feeding, nature trails, play areas, and fresh trout to take home – making it a perfect stop for family days out in Gloucestershire.
