Bloomin’ 50 Fest: The Roses Theatre Kicks Off Its 50th Anniversary in Style

The Roses Theatre in Tewkesbury is celebrating 50 fabulous years of arts and entertainment with Bloomin’ 50 Fest — a free 70s-themed outdoor party launching the Tewkesbury Big Weekend on Friday 16 May 2025.

Taking place on Sun Street, just outside the theatre, this lively event promises an evening of retro fun, fantastic food, and live performances, all part of the events in Tewkesbury calendar for May.

Outdoor bar fully stocked with drinks
Pizza and delicious street food
70s fancy dress competition

Friends, families, and long-time supporters of The Roses Theatre are all welcome to soak up the atmosphere, reminisce over favourite moments, and dance the night away in true disco style. Fancy dress is encouraged — think flares, sequins and flower power!

This free event runs from 6.00pm to 10.30pm on Friday 16 May and numbers are limited, so early arrival is strongly advised.
