Primrose Vale Prepares for PYO Season: Strawberries, Café & More
Primrose Vale is thrilled to announce that punnetted strawberries are now available in the Farm Shop, freshly picked and ready to enjoy. While the strawberries are ripening beautifully, the Pick-Your-Own (PYO) season is expected to commence around 25 May, offering a much-loved summer activity for all ages.
“The flowers are blooming, the bees are buzzing, and a fantastic strawberry crop is on the way,” says the Primrose Vale team.
Raised table-top strawberries will once again make for easy, clean picking – no bending, mud, slugs, or bugs.
As always, the PYO fields will run from late May through to October, with over fifteen different crops to pick throughout the season, including raspberries, broad beans, and more. In the meantime, the Farm Shop remains open seven days a week, stocked with fresh local produce and seasonal delights.

Café & Play Area
The Café Kiosk is currently open Thursday to Sunday for light refreshments and drinks. From 24 May, the full menu will be available daily, with a delicious selection of scoop ice creams, sundaes, cakes, sandwiches, paninis, and more. Visitors can relax at The Potting Shed Café, with plenty of seating inside the marquee and outdoors.
For those visiting outside kiosk hours, the Farm Shop offers a bean-to-cup coffee machine, grab-and-go snacks, and a self-serve Milk & Snack Vending Machine featuring local products, ensuring there is always something to enjoy.

Fast-Charging now available whilst you PYO Strawberries!
Primrose Vale is now home to six fast chargers installed by Osprey, located at the entrance to the farm. Offering CCS and CHAdeMO connections at up to 150kW, they are available 24 hours a day. Visitors charging during shop hours are welcome to use the facilities and enjoy a coffee while they wait.
Fresh Milk & Milkshakes
The self-serve milk vending machine at the Farm Shop provides farm-fresh milk and delicious flavoured milkshakes.
Visitors can refill their own bottles or enjoy a tasty, sustainable treat, bringing fresh dairy straight from the farm to their glass.
Primrose Vale continues to be a firm favourite for families, combining fresh local produce, family-friendly activities, and convenient new facilities.
