Looking for a family evening out that is truly memorable this May Half Term? Birdland Park & Gardens in Bourton-on-the-Water, right in the heart of the Cotswolds, is hosting a unique open-air cinema experience that promises magical moments for all ages.

Gather the family and enjoy Disney’s heart-warming tale The Good Dinosaur like never before — immersed in the sights and sounds of Birdland’s stunning natural surroundings. As the sun sets, settle down amongst the dinosaurs with your blankets and enjoy a wonderful evening under the stars.

This special event is the perfect way to spend quality family time during the School Holiday Half Term in May. Do something different and create cherished memories with a relaxing outdoor movie night in one of the Cotswolds’ most iconic family attractions.

Open-Air Cinema: The Good Dinosaur at Birdland

Friday 30 & Saturday 31 May 2025

Gates open at 6pm
Film starts at 7pm
Park closes at 9pm

What to Bring:

Picnic blankets or low-back camping chairs for comfort
High-back chairs may be restricted to designated areas
No tents, umbrellas, or structures that obstruct views

Food & Drink:

Hotdogs, ice-creams, popcorn and other refreshments available to purchase
Alcohol is not sold on site, but guests are welcome to bring their own

Important Information:

All tickets must be pre-booked online
Tickets include entry to Birdland and the film screening
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable
Children must be accompanied by an adult, senior, or over-16 carer
All visitors over age 3 require a valid ticket
Entry only permitted with a valid electronic or printed ticket

No smoking, vaping, or open flames allowed
This is an all-weather event. No refunds for weather disruptions unless cancelled by Birdland
