Climb Gloucester Cathedral’s Tower Again with New Roof Deck Views

Gloucester Cathedral Tower Reopens for Tours with Stunning New Roof Deck
One of the most iconic landmarks in Gloucestershire has reopened just in time for summer – the Gloucester Cathedral Tower, now featuring a brand-new roof deck. This essential refurbishment allows visitors to continue experiencing one of the most spectacular viewpoints in the region, while also preserving the Cathedral’s architectural heritage for future generations.
Visitors can once again ascend the 269 steps for unparalleled panoramic views across Gloucester, the Severn Vale, and as far as the Malvern Hills. Along the way, participants will step inside the ringing chamber and bell chamber, home to the legendary Great Peter – England’s only medieval bell of its size still in use.
