Cheltenham Lido Outdoor Cinema Returns This August With Finding Nemo And Bridget Jones
Cheltenham’s much-loved Sandford Parks Lido is set to transform into an open-air cinema this August, offering two magical evenings of film under the stars.
On Saturday 30 August 2025, families can enjoy Finding Nemo – the Disney Pixar classic that’s the perfect summer treat for children and grown-ups alike. Guests are invited to bring blankets, chairs and picnic snacks, before settling poolside as the sun sets and the big screen adventure begins.
The outdoor cinema weekend continues on Sunday 31 August 2025 with Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy. A feel-good finale to the summer, the screening promises laughter, romance, and plenty of Bridget’s signature chaos – an ideal night out with friends.
Both screenings are sponsored by Gloucestershire Old Spot and set against the beautiful backdrop of Cheltenham’s historic Grade II listed Lido.

“This is always one of Cheltenham’s calendar highlights – a chance to enjoy film, food, friends and family in one of the town’s most iconic outdoor settings,” said organisers.
