REVIEW: A Magical Festive Family Evening at Painswick Rococo Garden
Create unforgettable Christmas memories together this festive season in the Cotswolds
The Explore Gloucestershire team recently visited The Enchanted Garden at Painswick Rococo Garden, and it turned out to be a truly enchanting experience for families.
As we made our way around the illuminated trail, we were met with a stunning collection of handmade sculptures — from charming woodland creatures the children immediately loved to whimsical fairies and mermaids that added a magical, storybook feel to the evening.
The path itself is brightly lit and easy to follow, even with a pram, which made the whole visit relaxed and accessible for all ages. We stopped for something to eat and were genuinely impressed — the jackfruit bun and hot dog were delicious, and the festive drinks added that perfect cosy winter touch.
An Enchanted Garden by Night at Panswick Rococo Garden awaits...
A sheltered seating area offers families a comfortable spot to take a break and enjoy their food, regardless of the weather. After completing the trail, we explored the on-site shop filled with thoughtful local gifts, and we loved that visitors can even choose their Christmas tree before heading home. We also spotted plenty of well-behaved dogs enjoying the evening, making it a great option for families wanting to include their four-legged friends.
As a festive family outing, The Enchanted Garden really shines — magical, welcoming, and full of seasonal charm.
Let your imagination run wild at The Enchanteed Garden by Night in the heart of the Cotswolds.
