The Mousetrap Comes to Cheltenham Next September 2026 With a Feast of a Thriller for Theatre Lovers in the Cotswolds

Agatha Christie's legendary whodunnit, The Mousetrap, will arrive at the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham next September 2026, bringing a feast of suspense for theatre lovers, mystery fans and anyone seeking an unforgettable Cheltenham night out. Marking its 75th Anniversary UK Tour, the world’s longest running play promises to be one of the standout cultural moments in the Cotswolds next autumn.

Producer Brian Fenty confirmed the anniversary tour, saying "more exciting announcements are still to come as the production enters its 75th year." The West End run will also extend into early January 2027.

Since 1952, The Mousetrap has enthralled audiences with its silent clues, twisting tensions and the most famously protected secret in theatre history. When a shocking murder shakes London, attention turns to a remote country guesthouse where seven strangers seek refuge during a deadly snowstorm. As fear rises and stories start to crack, suspicion tightens its grip. Every whisper hints at danger. Every motive hides another twist. And only one chilling question remains: who among them is capable of murder?

Tour casting and creative details will be announced soon, but Cheltenham audiences can look forward to a classic whodunnit that continues to keep the world guessing.
