Summer Concerts Return to Gloucester at Kingsholm

Music concerts at kingsholm Gloucester Rugby Stadium

Kingsholm Summer Series will see major concerts return to Gloucester as live music heads back to Kingsholm Stadium for the first time since 2019.

Gloucester Rugby has announced the launch of the Kingsholm Summer Series, bringing two large scale performances to the city in June 2026 and re-establishing Kingsholm as a key venue for stadium entertainment. The return of concerts strengthens Gloucester’s growing live events scene, with more city listings available via What’s On in Gloucester.

The series opens on Saturday 27 June with Ministry of Sound Classical, featuring a 31 piece orchestra performing iconic dance tracks reimagined for a full scale live production. From sell out performances at the Royal Albert Hall to major national festival stages, the show has built a strong reputation for blending club classics with orchestral power.

Global icon Sir Tom Jones will headline on Sunday 28 June, continuing his legacy of unforgettable nights at Kingsholm. Having previously sold out in 2012 and performed to more than 17,000 supporters in 2017, his 2026 return promises to be another standout moment in the stadium’s concert history. With a career spanning over six decades and more than 100 million records sold worldwide, the Welsh singer is set to deliver a spectacular summer evening in the city.

Together, the two concerts mark the return of major live entertainment to the heart of Gloucester. Freemans Event Partners will lead food and beverage operations alongside curated fan zones across the events.

“We’re incredibly excited to see the return of concerts to Kingsholm Stadium and to bring large scale live entertainment back to the heart of the city. It’s an important step forward in our ambition to provide unique and exceptional experiences for our supporters, while also unlocking new opportunities for the Club to grow and diversify its revenue streams. I’m looking forward to seeing our home rocking as a concert venue once more.”
Alex Brown, Chief Executive Officer, Gloucester Rugby.

“We are extremely proud to be supporting Gloucester Rugby with the launch of the Kingsholm Summer Series. Bringing major live acts back to Kingsholm Stadium marks an exciting new chapter for the city and wider community.”
Stephen Freeman, Executive Chairman, Freemans Event Partners.
