Coming to Cheltenham this summer – I’m Sorry, Prime Minister live

I’m Sorry, Prime Minister at the Everyman Theatre Cheltenham

I’m Sorry, Prime Minister arrives in Cheltenham for a major UK tour

A celebrated chapter of British political comedy heads to the :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0} this summer, bringing sharp wit and familiar faces to the stage. Audiences can expect a lively, nostalgic production packed with humour, satire and classic British storytelling.

Following a successful run in London’s West End, the production tours the UK with an updated cast, stopping in Cheltenham for a limited run. Theatre lovers and fans of the original series will recognise the unmistakable tone and clever writing that made the show a national favourite.

At the heart of the story, Jim Hacker returns in retirement, only to find himself drawn back into chaos. Alongside him, Sir Humphrey Appleby continues his masterclass in bureaucracy, delivering the kind of dry humour and political manoeuvring that defined the original series.
