The Silence of the Lambs arrives at The Everyman Theatre Cheltenham in April 2027 with John Partridge starring as the infamous Dr Hannibal Lecter
The world stage premiere of The Silence of the Lambs will visit The Everyman Theatre Cheltenham from 12 April to 17 April 2027 as part of a major UK and Ireland tour.
British actor and West End star John Partridge will take on the iconic role of Dr Hannibal Lecter in the new stage adaptation of Thomas Harris’s bestselling psychological thriller.
Adapted by acclaimed playwright Gina Gionfriddo and directed by Curve Artistic Director Nikolai Foster, the production follows FBI trainee Clarice Starling as she seeks the help of the brilliant but dangerous Hannibal Lecter in the hunt for serial killer Buffalo Bill.
The gripping stage thriller promises suspense, psychological drama and edge-of-your-seat entertainment for theatre audiences in Cheltenham.
John Partridge, known to many for his role as Christian Clarke in EastEnders, has also appeared in major West End productions including Cats, Chicago, Cabaret and Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.
The production marks the first ever stage adaptation of The Silence of the Lambs and is expected to be one of the standout theatre events arriving in Cheltenham in 2027.
