Winter Glow Extends Kids Go Free Light Trail Offer Until Halloween
Families planning a festive trip to Winter Glow can save on their Christmas day out, with the popular Kids Go Free offer for its Light Trail now extended until Halloween
Children under the age of 10 can enjoy the Classic Light Trail experience for free when accompanied by a paying adult, with the offer now available to book until Saturday 31 October 2026.
Winter Glow, held at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern, returns from Friday 20 November to Thursday 31 December 2026 with its huge festive experience featuring an illuminated Light Trail, ice skating, Father Christmas Experiences, crazy golf, fairground rides and more.
1,700 Free Kids Tickets Already Claimed
The Kids Go Free offer was originally due to finish on Sunday 6 September, but strong demand has prompted organisers to extend it until Halloween.
Already, 1,700 free children's tickets have been snapped up for Winter Glow 2026 – double the number claimed at the same point last year.
During the 2025 event, Winter Glow gave away 6,000 children's tickets in total, helping thousands of families enjoy the festive experience for less.
A New Light Trail Adventure for 2026
This year's Illuminated Light Trail will feature more than 20 installations alongside brand-new immersive light features.
The 2026 theme, The Tale of Atlas Frost, follows Atlas Frost, the Guardian of Curios, as he carries news of wondrous trinkets and toy inventions from faraway lands home to Father Christmas.
Visitors will be able to follow the story as they make their way through the illuminated trail and discover the installations along the route.
More Festive Fun at Winter Glow
Beyond the Light Trail, families can enjoy ice skating on the West Midlands' largest indoor ice rink, take on UV Glow Crazy Golf or book one of Winter Glow's personalised Father Christmas Experiences.
Entry to Winter Glow itself is free, giving visitors access to the fairground, Christmas Market and Food Quarter, while onsite parking is also free.
Making Christmas More Affordable for Families
Chris Tarren, Founder of Winter Glow, said: “Christmas is the time to make memories - last year we gave away 6,000 kids tickets to help families do just that. With 1,700 free tickets already redeemed this year, demand is double what we saw at this point last year, so we’re delighted to extend the offer until Halloween.
