Sudeley Castle to host exclusive Wedding Fair
Sudeley Castle is to host an exclusive Wedding Fair on Sunday 22nd November which will give potential brides and grooms the unique opportunity to experience this beautiful venue and for a private tour of the venue, grounds and St. Mary’s Chapel.
There will be a limited number of places and interested couples should contact Debbie Hillyard at Sudeley for an invitation. The Wedding Fair includes the chance to meet partners and suppliers such as florists and photographers who are vital to a successful wedding. Entry to this unique event is free and tastings are available from Sudeley’s caterers in the form of wine and canapés.
The Times recently described Sudeley as the ‘Most Romantic’ Castle in England and being nestled in the Cotswold hills, it makes the perfect setting for a wedding. Sudeley is a truly unique venue, rich in history, with over 1200 acres of grounds. It is licensed for Civil Ceremonies and blessings may take place in St Mary’s Church within the heart of the grounds, or in the magnificent award-winning gardens which present a stunning backdrop for wedding photos.
The Castle is perhaps best known for hosting the wedding of Elizabeth Hurley and Arun Nayar in 2007. With an A-list congregation Sudeley attracted international attention, helping to put it on the map as the most sought after wedding venue in the country.
Voted ‘Wedding Venue of the Year’ at the Wedding Retailer Awards in 2008, Sudeley has seen a rise in wedding bookings in 2009.
