Open date for Cheltenham Lido
Cheltenham's Sandford Lido has been re-scheduled to open on 11 August with a Family Fun Day. It was due to open in May, but unforeseen problems with the pool refurbishment have meant that the entire pool had to be recoated. However, on a positive note this does ensure the future of the Lido which has been uncertain in the past.
Although the season will only last until 30 September the staff will
"do everything in their power to ensure it is a season worth celebrating".
