The Cheltenham Literature Festival, the world’s first and foremost festival of its kind, will once again bring the world’s leading writers, thinkers, and performers to the vibrant spa town of Cheltenham. The Festival village returns to the heart of the regency town, offering a unique experience for all who attend.
Known for blazing a trail in the literary world, this festival presents an unparalleled line-up of events showcasing literary legends, fresh voices, and the year’s biggest books. The diverse programme spans a wide range of topics, including history, food, travel, poetry, spoken word, art, sport, faith, philosophy, fashion, psychology, science, nature, business, and much more—there’s truly something for everyone.
The lively Festival village offers the perfect family day out, with a bumper programme of events, free activities, workshops, and story trails featuring the greatest storytellers and illustrators. The Literature for Schools programme also allows thousands of schoolchildren the chance to meet their literary heroes.
