Oddsocks: A Midsummer Night's Dream at The Roses Theatre

Oddsocks will be taking to the road again in summer 2025 with another high-energy, feel-good family theatre show. Shakespeare’s most magical, fast-paced, and hilarious comedy – A Midsummer Night’s Dream – will be performed in Oddsocks’ inimitable irreverent and knockabout style, complete with live music, comic action, and even some outrageous hunting dogs!
The story follows four lovers who escape to the Athenian forest, only to be tricked by mischievous woodland creatures with riotous consequences. Meanwhile, a troupe of amateur actors rehearsing in a forest glade are unwittingly swept up in fairy-fuelled chaos, resulting in a wonderfully bizarre and side-splitting performance.
Warning: This is an outdoor performance. Please dress appropriately.
