Crucifixion Exhibition at Nature in Art Gloucester

Wildlife exhibition near Gloucester – Crucifixion at Nature in Art
Crucifixion, a powerful new wildlife exhibition by internationally acclaimed artist Darrell Warner, comes to Nature in Art at Wallsworth Hall near Gloucester from Tuesday 12 May to Sunday 21 June 2026.
This striking collection of watercolours explores the fragile relationship between humanity and the natural world, focusing on British birdlife lost through everyday human impact, from roadside incidents to window strikes.
Created during the stillness of the 2020 lockdown, Crucifixion began as a personal response to fallen birds encountered by the artist. The exhibition has since become a reflective body of work, capturing species from the familiar blackbird to more elusive wildlife with sensitivity and detail.
Set within the peaceful surroundings of Nature in Art, this thought-provoking exhibition invites visitors to pause, reflect and consider conservation, loss and awareness through a powerful artistic lens.
