Step back in time with a fascinating tour of the Gloucester Cathedral medieval library, a hidden gem tucked away up a winding spiral staircase. Housing rare books and manuscripts dating back to the 11th century, this is a unique chance to explore centuries of history.
Visitors will enjoy a 60-minute guided tour, learning about the library’s remarkable past before taking time to view some of its treasured medieval items. The experience continues with a delicious tea in the atmospheric Monks’ Kitchen, where guests can choose between a savoury or cream tea and chat further with fellow visitors and an expert guide.
