Wild Arts Opera arrives at Sudeley Castle for a vibrant summer evening of music, storytelling and theatrical charm in the spectacular Cotswold setting.
Semi-staged by director Guido Martin-Brandis, this lively performance weaves a new narrative filled with dramatic intrigue, jealousy, comedy, idealism and true love. Audiences follow the characters through 75 minutes of glorious music drawn from some of the world’s most beloved composers.
The programme features sparkling arias and scenes by Handel, Mozart, Rossini and Britten, alongside classic songs by Richard Rodgers and Stephen Sondheim. Performed by four outstanding singers accompanied by a world-class string quintet, the production combines operatic brilliance with playful theatrical storytelling.
